Service Description

Once a month our studio is open for an hour (9:00-10:00) to all yogis wanting to encourage silent self practice. No music. Listen to your thoughts and breath. Space held by Angelique Maya It’s probably fair to say that the more we realise what we are not, the closer we come to realising who or what we truly are. By studying ‘the self’ and recognizing our habits and thought processes, we realise how much of what we do and think is far from who we really know we are. Why do this? 1. It makes your practice more regular 2. It develops your sense of self-study and discipline. 3. It increases your level of commitment to your yoga mat and time spent working on yourself 4. It helps you to take yoga off your mat and into your life 5. In an ideal world, we should have a daily practice as a way of connecting to ourselves, strengthening, stretching and realigning our bodies to avoid injury, illness and unwanted accidents happening to u and keeping a well balance mental and emotional health. Remember, "yoga" is also meditation, poses, flow, breathing, chanting, mudra, writing and much more. To get a good rounded practice one needs to dedicate time to honor this journey and although you might not be on this path right now, self-practice is a great way to take the first step! 6. It helps you align your body by experience 7. Attunes to the breath and builds a strong Ujayi practice. SO JOIN IN AND REMEMBER, THERE IS NO JUDGEMENT AS YOU CANNOT DO YOGA...YOU CAN ONLY BE IN THE STATE OF YOGA :) Free of charge to monthly members, non members and class card holds - R80 cash only of rusage of space, facilities and energy.

Cancellation Policy

PLEASE NOTE!!! A late cancellation (cancelling with less than 30 minutes before a class starts) or no show (not cancelling and not arriving) counts as a paid class! This goes towards paying our teachers for their time and energy. Private sessions will be confirmed 48 hours in advance and cancellation is required at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in student forfeiting the session. If for some reason, the teacher cannot make the session, another appointment will be made upon cancellation.
